Here are some highlights of All Nations Bible Society’s activities in reaching out with the Word of God during 2009-2010:
Brazil
All Nations Bible Society provided financial support for Larry Darby, an independent missionary teaching and developing new pastors and Christian leaders. He heads Seminario SDC in Guarapari, with over 300 students, 57 of whom graduated this year. He also oversees small satellite schools in Juiz de Fora, Curitiba, Caxias do Sul, Florinapolis, Ceara, Mato Grosso, and Amapa, as well as in Santiago, Chile. During the past 35 years he has educated over 2,600 church leaders who are now serving throughout Latin America.
Haiti
All Nations Bible Society shipped a sea container filled with clothing items to Missionaries of Charity in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to benefit families impacted by the 7.0 magnitude earthquake of January 12, 2010. The shipment had a total fair market value of $196,171.
Kenya
All Nations Bible Society provided financial support to Benjamin Musyoka of Nairobi. Dr. Musyoka heads the child development and leadership development programs of Daystar University, which has over 4,000 students, and he also trains 400 ministerial students at Nairobi Evangelical School of Theology. He planted 4 churches in the rural Kitui district.
Liberia
ANBS provided grants to World-Wide Missions Liberia in support of two major church conferences, the annual mission conference and a ministerial training conference. The funds were used to help feed approximately 2,000 delegates.
ANBS made a grant to Henry Goeh for purchase of airfare to Liberia for the 50th anniversary conference of World-Wide Missions of Liberia. Goeh is head of the Christian Education Foundation of Liberia, which trains pastors and church leaders, as well director of evangelism for WWML. Last year 78 ministers were in training under his leadership.
